Changes are coming....

I know the picture is fuzzy but you get the idea, Malia is going to be a big sister around October 20th! We are so excited and thankful to be blessed with another sweet life in His perfect timing.

A Chocolate Festival...how great is that!

This past weekend we decided to check out Glendale's chocolate affair and it was definitely worth the drive. Malia liked the chocolate and loved the bus ride to Ceretta's for a tour of the factory. She was so proud that she was riding on a bus...I love that something so simple can make her day. Chocolate covered peppers...I am not so sure about that combo

Malia was a bit scared of this huge slide but immediately after reaching the bottom she shouted "my turn" sorry babe but at $6 bucks a pop that was your turn.

Paci Fairy

Malia is 2 now and we decided it is time for the pacifier fairy to make a visit. We dropped the pacifiers in the mailbox and the next morning the fairy left a tiger flashlight in the mailbox that makes the cutest sounds. She isn't asking for the pacis as much as the first few days but she is not sleeping as much as she used to either, it has been a transition for all of us. The first few nights she woke up at 2 a.m. and would not go back to sleep, now she is sleeping in until 5:30. I miss those long naps as well, I am lucky if she sleeps at all, but I have decided for my sanity she has to have quiet time in her room for at least an hour. I am hoping that with a few more weeks we will get back into our routine. I can't believe how quickly she is changing from a baby into a toddler.

Stephen is incredibly thoughtful and surprises me with flowers, and Malia with balloons quite often and I had to share this last bunch because I thought they were particularly beautiful.
