Busy Baby Class

Malia has been taking a class this summer (when we are in town) that she really seems to enjoy. Stephen joined us for her last class to check out all the fun she has been having. There are so many new things to see and do that during free time Malia tries to cover every square inch of the class and jumps from one station to the next. When it comes to parachute/bubble time she is not so sure she likes all of the crazy people singing and shaking the chute, she tends to observe as you will see in the last picture below with a puzzled look on her face.

Fourth of July Festivities

We celebrated the 4th of July once again by escaping the heat and heading up to the cabin where the highs were in the 80's and the lows in the 50's! It was an All American weekend with a parade, barbeque, fireworks, horse shoes, smores, card games (Ashley kicked our tails at Phase 10) and plenty of time to sit on the deck and relax.

Sharing with Daisy

In May my Mom, Malia and I travelled to MO for a visit with my grandparents. One of the funniest moments of the trip was when Malia all on her own decided to feed my Grandparents dog. In the time it took me to run out to our rental car and back she managed to climb onto a kitchen chair and then up onto the kitchen table where she snatched a bag of bread, she then climbed back down and shared with Daisy. Sooo cute!

Malia's first haircut

Before
She didn't shed a tear, thank goodness for Cheerios

She was a bit scared and let me know with some very sad faces and whines

But she stuck it out and here is her beautiful after picture
